They are in different residences.

Three almost identical offices were built for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in three different residences to hide his real place of residence.

This was reported by the Radio Liberty and Present Time investigative project "Sistema".

The journalists found evidence that Putin's Bocharov Ruchey residence in Sochi and Valdai in the Novgorod region have built replicas of his working office in the Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow. The dictator holds meetings and sessions in them, but the Kremlin is silent that they are different places: all the offices are officially shown as "Novo-Ogarevo."

The main evidence that the offices are actually three: a handle on the door, a decorative line on the wall and a folder for papers.

The history of these offices and Putin's movements between them shows how his attitude to his own security changed and how he moved the management of the state to his home over the years.

Putin's original office was equipped in his residence in Novo-Ogaryovo near Moscow in 2015, but a year later construction began on secret copies of this room, journalists found out. Photos and videos from the office in Valdai appear from 2018, and from the office in Sochi - from 2020.

"On one day Putin can be filmed in the office with one renovation, then - in the same office, but with a different 'renovation', and finally again in the same one," the authors of the project noted.

They also found out that since January 2024, the Russian dictator has stopped using the Sochi office due to the threat of drone attacks, and since the beginning of 2025 - the office in Novo-Ogaryovo.

But from mid-September 2025, Putin began to return to these residences occasionally again, the investigation said.

Putin's secret bunkers

Previously, Putin's secret bunkers became known.

According to investigative journalism, there is a whole network of bunkers in the center of Moscow. They are underground and the tunnels are up to 200 meters deep. Diggers accidentally got into one of these tunnels and told about what they saw. For this they were arrested, given suspended and real sentences and then forced to leave Russia.

In the south of Russia, Putin has a huge estate in Gelendzhik. There is a huge palace, a church, a wine cellar, his own casino, an arboretum, and a hockey rink. The plot on the cliff overlooking the Black Sea is safely hidden from human eyes by a huge forest and a flight-restricted zone.

According to experts, the bunkers and tunnels are built very competently - there is its own system of clean air, water, heating. There is protection from fires, possible chemical danger. And the tunnels are connected to a road that can be used to deliver supplies.
