This is stated in the decree of the Council of Ministers of October 31, published on the National Legal Portal.

The Decree "On the application of special restrictive measures" was adopted "in order to ensure the protection of national interests of Belarus in connection with the introduction of restrictions by foreign states, committing unfriendly actions against Belarus, its citizens and (or) organizations."

According to the ban, which has already come into force, the following transport can't move through the territory of Belarus:

- trucks and tractors registered in member states of the European Union;

- trailers (semi-trailers) registered in Poland and Lithuania;

- cars registered in Poland and carrying out international transportation in accordance with individual consignment notes or international consignment notes "CMR".

"Violation of the ban by drivers is recognized as the implementation of international road transportation on the territory of Belarus without a permit for such transportation and entails liability in accordance with the legislation on administrative offenses," the decree says.

All vehicles that fall under the ban and are currently in Belarus, must move to specially established by the Council of Ministers of Belarus, listed in the decree.

The ban does not apply if the vehicles are transported in the territory of Belarus without a permit for such transportation. Now trucks, tractors and trailers (semi-trailers) with Lithuanian registration can cross the border only at the Belarusian-Lithuanian section. And it is currently closed until November 30.
