There were powerful explosions near Moscow.
This night, powerful explosions took place on the territory of the Moscow region. The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR has successfully destroyed three strings of the strategic oil product pipeline Koltsevoy.
This is reported by GUR.
According to the military, on October 31, as a result of a special operation of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GUR, a critical military facility of Russia's aggressor state, the Koltsevoy oil product pipeline, which provided the Russian occupation army with resources to wage a genocidal war against the Ukrainian people, was put out of operation.
The site of the successful disabling of a critical military infrastructure facility is located in the Ramensky district of Moscow Region.
Antidrone netting and "protection" of the enemy facility by paramilitary guards did not help, because, as explained in the GSD, all three strings, through which the aggressor transported gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, successfully and simultaneously exploded, and the oil product pipeline was put out of operation.
The aggressor sent its special services and repair crews to the site of the explosion.
The GID notes that another successful GID operation on Russian territory is a serious blow to the aggressor state's military capabilities, as well as to its economy, particularly in the Moscow region.
What is known about the oil product pipeline
The length of the Koltsevoy main oil product pipeline is 400 kilometers. Fuel for transportation through the pipeline came from Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod and Moscow oil refineries.
The Koltsevoy was capable of pumping up to 3 million tons of jet fuel, up to 2.8 million tons of diesel fuel and up to 1.6 million tons of gasoline annually.
So, Ukraine continues to exert effective "sanctions" pressure on the aggressor, which was described by Lieutenant General Kirill Budanov, head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's GURU.
"In fact, our strikes have had more impact than the effect of sanctions. It's just such a mathematical truth. We have inflicted by direct action much more damage to the Russian Federation than any economic leverage on them that has been imposed so far," Budanov emphasized.
