Children Sharply Criticize The Situation In Belarusian Schools

  • 9.10.2025, 13:32

Many educational institutions don't even have toilet paper.

Belarusian teenagers purposefully make videos for TikTok with the words "I'm dying in Belarus". In the social network one can find many videos where young people complain about the current conditions in schools:

"The school budget is spent on lockers for phones, while there is no paper in the toilets. School uniforms are prescribed down to the smallest detail. The requirements have become even higher," noted the bgmedia website.

Pupils point out that there are quite a few problems in schools that the authorities do not pay attention to. The same shortage of toilet paper, which can be seen in the restrooms only during general inspections. Teachers have become stricter: someone is reprimanded even for laughing loudly at recess.

The journalists have already written how schoolchildren react to the innovations concerning the ban on phones during school hours. In response to this ban, children started breaking school furniture and equipment. Students also told in comments under thematic videos that in some schools they were forbidden to run, go outside and play board games during breaks. And it was these constant restrictions that brought them to a state that they ironically call "Project Mayhem" (a reference to Chuck Palahniuk's "Fight Club").
