The Ukrainian Armed Forces Navy has launched a missile strike on the Oryol thermal power plant and Novobryansk electric substation in Russia. According to the Navy, these facilities supplied power to military enterprises in the region.

The the press service of the AFU Naval Forces reported this on Friday, October 31.

It is noted that the strikes were carried out with Neptun cruise missiles.

"Both facilities provided power to military enterprises in the region, so putting them out of service is a serious blow to the occupiers' logistics," the report said.

The governor of the Orel region Andrey Klitschko earlier claimed an attack on the Orel thermal power plant.
