Poland's defense minister revealed the details.

The Polish military intercepted Russian jets over the Baltic Sea twice this week.

Polish National Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh said this, according to RMF24.

Today, Polish MiG-29s intercepted another Russian reconnaissance aircraft.

What preceded

Earlier, on Tuesday, October 28, a pair of Polish MiG-29 fighter jets intercepted a Russian Il-20 aircraft that was conducting a reconnaissance mission in international airspace without a filed flight plan and with its transponder turned off.

The minister emphasized that the Polish military controls the situation in the airspace over the Baltic Sea and is ready to respond to any violations.
