The number of crimes committed by foreigners is growing in Belarus. At the same time, there are more migrants coming to work in the country. This was reported by First Deputy Interior Minister Yuri Nazarenko at the III Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security on October 28, BelTA state agency.

By the influx of migrants in Belarus, there is a 17% increase in recorded crimes committed by foreigners, their share in the total structure of crime increased to 3.4% compared to the same period last year.

In addition, Nazarenko noted that the territory of Belarus is still used by illegal migrants as a transit corridor on their way to the EU countries.
