Strike On The Dam In Belgorod Region: The Situation For The AFU Is Changing

The logistics of the occupiers have been disrupted.
Due to the Ukrainian Defense Forces' strikes on the Russian dam near Belgorod, a significant number of occupants will be forced to completely reformat all their logistics and positioning at their positions. This was said on the air of "Channel 24" by Ivan Tymochko - military expert, chairman of the council of reservists of the AFU Ground Forces.
"This will significantly affect their mobility, taking into account the geography, terrain, how many Russian positions will be flooded, what state they are in now. We don't know the ultimate goal of breaking these dams. In theory, we can assume that it is to weaken the enemy's offensive in the northern direction of Ukraine. But it will also affect many other factors that will be concomitant, and perhaps even more harmful than simply flooding the Russian army," Tymochko said.
He added that this strike could disrupt the interaction of Russian troops with command posts, as well as decision-making centers.
"The very fact that they were unable to build a system to cover such a dam - it says a lot. And it is clear that this territory that will be flooded, taking into account the season, drying up until next year will not be. That is, this territory will be minimally used by Russian troops. And this means that at least in this direction part of the enemy forces will be weakened and there will be no opportunity for them to conduct serious offensive actions," Tymochko added.
