The Russians' position is sinking.
Russia's Belgorod region complained about the breach of a dam after a two-day attack and the threat of flooding the positions of Russian 6th Army units. Unmanned Systems Force Commander Robert (Madyar) Brody said the strike was carried out by drone operators.
The water dropped 100 cm after the strike.
"The visit was carried out by birds of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Force (transformed 14th SBS Regiment). The operation was dubbed "Dam, well you hold on, if anything!", but as seen from [Russian] additional reconnaissance, the dam has deteriorated a bit," he wrote.
The first attack was allegedly carried out on October 24, with regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announcing the damage to the reservoir dam the next day. He suggested that residents of the settlements of Bezlyudovka, Novaya Tavolzhanka and Shebekino evacuate to Belgorod, as, according to him, there was a risk of their flooding.
Russian telegram channel ASTRA said that the dam was seriously damaged, causing the water to move away from the shore - overnight it moved away by several meters. It is claimed that water flooded Russian soldiers' dugouts near the village of Grafovka and down the Seversky Donets riverbed, writes liga.net.
October 26, propaganda channels said another dam was allegedly hit, damaging a sluice and causing the dam to burst. Flooding allegedly threatened positions of units of the Russian 6th Army, 44th Army Corps, 128th, 116th, 68th and 136th brigades.
Officially, the authorities of Belgorod region or Russia did not report about the repeated strike and the risk of flooding. According to propagandists' versions, the strikes on the dam were allegedly carried out by HIMARS missiles and drones.
The 16th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that due to the breach of the Belgorod dam, the occupants have complicated the situation in the Volchansk direction. The enemy logistics are becoming much more complicated, and the units that did not have time to cross the Seversky Donets have been effectively cut off from the main forces.
