Belarusian Woman Freed From Slavery In Myanmar

She was forced to work at a fraud center.

A Belarusian woman (her identity is not disclosed), who was enslaved in a fraudulent center in Myanmar, told GosTV why it is difficult to escape from there.

The girl has repeatedly traveled to Asia to work. Last time she was invited to Thailand by a trusted agent. The girl was offered to work as a face - to smile at investors at meetings so that they would agree to invest money in projects. But in fact she was taken to Myanmar.

She says that on the territory of the scam center (complexes where people are held by force and forced to engage in online fraud) there are guard posts and men with guns everywhere. People held there can be killed or sold for organs.

"Guys were hung, with their hands on top like this, they hung there for 24 hours. They could be beaten there periodically. Urinate, everything else - well, as you want," says the girl.

She adds that even if you manage to escape, you don't know who to turn to for help, who to call, because everything is corrupt and locals can give you up.

The girl was released from the scam center with the help of Belarusian diplomats. She was probably the one who was brought home in March 2024.

What with Vera Kravtsova missing in Myanmar is still officially unknown. A source from Russian TV channel Ren TV reported that the girl was found dead.
