The Kremlin is slipping into paranoia.
Panic reigns in the Kremlin as it is "running out of cards" to continue the "game" there, and US President Donald Trump is "tightening the screws."
The Telegraph writes The Telegraph on Sunday, October 26, pointing out that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin fears another coup as Russia's position is finally starting to weaken.
Author of the article Melissa Lawford pointed out that in October, the Federal Security Service of the aggressor country Russia (FSB RF) filed a case against businessman Mikhail Khodorkovsky and members of Russia's Anti-War Committee for violent seizure of power and creation of a terrorist community.
"Putin seems to regard Khodorkovsky as a threat again," the publication's author noted.
Khodorkovsky himself calls the charges false, while experts say it is a clear sign of Putin's new sense of vulnerability.
In comments to The Telegraph, John Herbst, senior director of the Atlantic Council's Eurasia Center and former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, said the move shows that "the Kremlin is falling into paranoia."
