The situation in the area of the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd agglomeration and on the Ocheretinsky section of the Pokrovsky direction remains difficult. The enemy prevails in numbers and increases offensive efforts.

According to the General Staff, units of the Armed Forces and other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in certain strips continue to conduct defensive, as well as search and strike and assault actions, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Liberated territories
Over the past ten days, Ukrainian troops in the Ocheretinsky section have regained control over two settlements - Kucherov Yar and Sukhetske. Since August 21, 2025, the situation on this section has been stabilized, control over nine settlements has been restored, and nine more have been cleared of enemy sabotage groups. Over the past ten days alone, 1,756 servicemen and 75 enemy vehicles have been destroyed here.
For a little over two months, the total losses of the enemy in the Ocheretinsky (Dobropolsky) direction amount to more than 15,700 servicemen and 1,364 units of weapons and military equipment, in particular 36 tanks, 121 armored combat vehicles, 162 artillery systems, 5 MLRS, 447 vehicles, 592 motorcycles and ATVs, as well as one unit of special equipment. 4,689 different UAVs were destroyed. The "exchange fund" continues to be replenished with Russian prisoners.
As of October 26, 2025, Ukrainian soldiers have liberated 185.6 kilometers of quadrants and cleared 243.8 km² of the territory of Pokrovsk district of Donetsk region.
Pokrovsk
On the approaches to the city of Pokrovsk and within its limits, Ukrainian units carry out daily complex measures to stabilize the situation. The enemy, using the interposition space and infiltration of small infantry groups, has accumulated about 200 soldiers in the city.
In Pokrovsk itself, small arms battles continue, UAV units are actively working. Attempts by the enemy to advance deep into the city and gain a foothold in the urban development are being foiled by counter-sabotage measures.
Ukrainian defenders continue to identify, destroy or capture Russian occupiers who are trying to infiltrate through the fighting order. The fighting remains dynamic and intense.
Russian forces have recently increased their use of armored vehicles in assault operations. From October 20 to October 25, 41 assaults involving equipment were recorded along the entire front line, some of them in the Pokrovsk direction. On October 25, in the area of Pokrovsk, one TBM and two motorcycles were destroyed, and another TBM was destroyed in the direction of Balagan. All vehicles used by the enemy in these assaults were neutralized.
The General Staff notes that Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold the defense and destroy the plans of the enemy. For the Defense Forces, building up defense stability, coordinated actions, effective fire defeat and countering enemy UAVs and artillery remain relevant.
