Erdogan Made A Statement About The Meeting Between Trump And Putin

Turkey intends to take advantage of the situation.

Turkey may host a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

-Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this, RBC-Ukraine reported, citing Hürriyet.

- We are ready to host such a meeting (Trump and Putin - ed.) at any time. It is a pity that the meeting in Budapest did not take place. We believe that any dialog is useful to end this war," Erdogan said.

He added that Turkey has advocated dialog from the very beginning and stated that a just peace is possible.

Erdogan said Ankara has good relations with both Kiev and Moscow and has earned the trust of the two warring countries.

- This gives us an advantage on the road to peace and we intend to use this situation for the benefit of humanity," the Turkish leader said.
