But it doesn't look like a punishment.
Five months after the tragic death of a 14-year-old schoolgirl at the Yelsk central district hospital, the head physician of the institution, Konstantin Klimenok, was dismissed after seven years of work. His place is still vacant, an acting chief physician has been appointed.
It is not known whether this is related to the incident, the outcome of the investigation of which is still not reported.
As "Flagstaff", the former head doctor of Yelsk was appointed on October 8 to the post of head of the Sosny sanatorium of the Mozyr oil refinery.
Klimenok's new job does not look like punishment for the death of a child - on the contrary, a managerial position in a departmental sanatorium of one of the leading enterprises of the region may seem more attractive than a position as head doctor of a hospital in a depressive district.
In comments on social networks local residents were indignant at such a "punishment" of Klimenok, some of them spoke sharply negative about him.
Not long before the tragedy in Jelsk, Klimenok was awarded a diploma of the Belarusian Trade Union of Health Care Workers "for many years of conscientious work in the health care system, work on the development and strengthening of social partnership, organizational support of effective work on the provision of medical care to the population".
