ISW: The Ukrainian Armed Forces Have Advanced In Key Areas Of The Front

Ukrainian defense forces, in addition to effective defense on all sections of the front, sometimes conduct counter-offensive operations. This was reported by the US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

In particular, in the Pokrovsky direction, recent successful actions of the Ukrainian military allowed them to advance near two critical cities.

The ISW analysts analyzed geolocation footage from October 22, indicating the liberation by Ukrainian defenders of the settlement of Kucherov Yar, which is located on the northern similarity of the city of Dobropillya and near Pokrovsk.

According to the Ukrainian Airborne Troops, during the liberation of the village also more than 50 Russian occupants had to lay down their arms and surrender.

In addition, the Ukrainian military maintains its positions and recently advanced in the area of the highway in the western part of Pokrovsk. Russian occupation troops had previously maintained a presence in this area, but geolocation footage from October 20 indicates success for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
