Three Months To Go: New Water Supply Scare In Crimea

  • 23.10.2025, 8:22

The situation in the occupied region is rapidly deteriorating.

The problem of water supply is rapidly aggravating in Crimea. This is happening against the backdrop of the ongoing drought and declining levels in reservoirs.

The National Resistance Center reports on Telegram.

The situation in the region is worsening: in Alushta, water supplies are reportedly sufficient for only three months. Russian officials on the peninsula say they are looking for ways to stabilize the supply, but there are still no concrete plans.

In some settlements water supply restriction schedules have already begun to take effect, and in some areas people are forced to draw water from natural sources unfit for consumption.

Tensions are rising in Simferopol - in the corridors of the local administration, a possible "personnel rotation" is being discussed.

At the same time, the head of the occupation authorities, Sergei Aksyonov, according to sources, is trying to shift responsibility to the Russian Defense Ministry, accusing the military of excessive use of water for the needs of training grounds.

At the same time, Moscow is urgently preparing internal inspections and personnel reshuffles in the Crimean administration.

Schedules and tankers are the only way out

With the crisis intensifying, local authorities are discussing the introduction of temporary water supply schedules and the use of tanker trucks to deliver technical moisture.

At the same time, experts note that even such measures can only delay the development of the disaster, unless systematic steps are taken to provide the peninsula with sustainable sources of water.
