Zelensky Has Arrived In Norway

Details of the Ukrainian president's visit have become known.

On Wednesday, October 22, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky flew to Norway.

Zelensky arrived in the Norwegian capital Oslo, where he will meet with the country's Prime Minister Jonas Gar Støre. Zelensky's arrival in Norway was also confirmed by presidential spokesman Sergey Nikiforov.

Stere promised that Norway will continue to support Ukraine.

"I sincerely welcome Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukrainian First Lady Olena Zelenska. Norway supports Ukraine in its pursuit of the long and just peace that the Ukrainian people deserve," he emphasized in a statement on the Ukrainian president's arrival in Norway.

Stere noted that during his meeting with Zelensky, they will hold talks regarding the front line in the Russia-Ukraine war.

"I had talks with Zelensky after his meeting with Donald Trump. The Europeans are very supportive of his position. This meeting aims to continue negotiations with Ukraine within the framework of the talks Ukraine is having with European partners," the country's prime minister said.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga has also arrived in Oslo.

"This will undoubtedly be a historic meeting," he said.

On the same day, Zelensky will travel to Sweden, where he will meet with Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

European leaders said Tuesday, October 21, that they "strongly support" an immediate end to Russia's war in Ukraine at existing positions to create conditions for peace talks.

The media wrote that European countries are working with Ukraine on a 12-point proposal to end Russia's war on the current battle lines.
