The queues have increased, but only slightly.

Lithuania has resumed the work of two checkpoints on the border with Belarus. This was reported in the Belarusian State Border Committee.

The agency noted that at night from October 21 to 22, "the Lithuanian side temporarily stopped processing of vehicles crossing the border in both directions at international road checkpoints from 2.10 "Shalchininkai" (from the Belarusian side - "Beniakoni") and from 2.50 "Miadininkai" ("Kamenny Log").

"As of 9.00, the traffic resumed. The Lithuanian control services are in charge of transport registration both for entry and exit," said the CPC.

The queues in front of the checkpoints for exit from Belarus have increased slightly and amount to only 40 cars for cars, 1,510 heavy trucks for trucks, 3 buses.

The information of the Belarusian colleagues was confirmed by the State Border Guard Service of Lithuania.

"Since 9.00, the inspection and passage of persons and vehicles through the checkpoints "Miadininkai" and "Shalchininkai," operating on the border with Belarus, has been resumed," said the Lithuanian agency.

Reminder, the work of two checkpoints Lithuania suspended on October 22 because of dozens of weather probes, which flew into the country from Belarus. The incident caused a temporary suspension of Vilnius airport and affected about 30 flights.

In the morning of October 22, the Lithuanian edition of Delfi reported that five meteoprobes, which flew into the country, had been detected. In connection with the incident, operatives detained a man in possession of 7,000 packs of smuggled cigarettes.
