He described the salaries of politicians in the country as "ridiculous".

Former Polish President Andrzej Duda has joined the supervisory board of fintech company ZEN.com.

In an interview with Puls Biznesu, he explained that he does not plan to live only on his presidential pension after his cadence is over.

The 53-year-old former president, who will leave office in August 2025, said he receives 12,000 net zloty (about $3300) from the state.

"I am 53 years old today and I am not thinking about retirement yet," Duda explained his motivation for seeking additional sources of income.

He said the salaries of politicians in Poland are "ridiculous" compared to those of CEOs.

"After years of public service, I want to use my experience to support the development of technologies and innovations that have a real positive impact on the economy," he added.

ZEN.com, founded in 2018 in Ryashev by entrepreneur David Rozek, positions itself as Zero Effort Non-bank, a platform for fast online payments and multi-currency transactions.
