Russian dictator wants to feel the power of American weapons?
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin responded to US President Donald Trump, who called Russia a "paper tiger", at a plenary session of the XXII annual meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club.
Putin said that NATO countries should go and try to deal with Russia, which they call a "paper tiger."
The Kremlin chief also believes that Russia is already at war with all NATO countries.
"If we are at war with the entire NATO bloc and we are moving like this, advancing, feeling confident, and it is a 'paper tiger'? What then is NATO itself? What is it then?", Putin wondered.
"I don't know in what context it was said, how ironically it may have been said. Here he said to his interlocutor: 'This is a paper tiger.' And then maybe what? Well, go then and deal with this paper tiger. And there, you see, everything happens in a different way," the Russian dictator added.
The moderator of the session offered to give Trump a paper toy in the form of a tiger when he met with him. Putin refused: "No. We have our own relationship with him, we know what to give each other," the Russian dictator said.
On September 23, Trump called Russia's war in Ukraine an "aimless struggle" and mocked Moscow's military power. According to the politician, Russia has been fighting for three and a half years, which with real military power would be over in a week. Trump emphasized that the failure to bring the armed conflict to a conclusion makes the country look like a "paper tiger".
