Ukrainian "Peacemaker" Asks To Prosecute Sergei Tikhanovskyy

What's the reason.

The "Peacemaker" center has updated information on its official website regarding ex-political prisoner Serhiy Tikhanovskyy and accuses him of committing "conscious actions against the national security of Ukraine, peace, security of mankind and international law and order." The center asks that this message be considered as an allegation of a crime to Ukraine's law enforcement agencies, noted Belsat.

The website states that Sergei Tikhanovsky violated the state border of Ukraine when he visited Crimea occupied by Russian troops, and this is interpreted as an attempt to legalize the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by Russian invaders.

As early as 2014, Sergei Tikhanovsky actively supported the seizure and occupation of Crimea, the report notes. In 2017, according to "Peacemaker", he illegally entered the territory of the occupied Crimea and defiantly declared: "Crimea is ours".

Serhiy Tikhanovsky himself, after leaving prison, repeatedly emphasized that he is on the side of Ukraine in the war against Russian aggressors.

Reminder that he was initially included in the database of the center "Peacemaker" back in 2020 for visiting Crimea.
