Political Prisoner Oleksandr Kozlyanko Was Added 1.5 Years In Prison

Political prisoner anarchist Alexandr Kozlyanko was added 1.5 years of imprisonment to his 6-year sentence, reported the TV channel "ACK-Belarus".

"The other day Sasha was convicted under part 2 of Article 411 of the Criminal Code for allegedly malicious disobedience to the requirements of the administration of IK-1. The court decision - another 1.5 years of colony to his 6-year sentence in the case of the 'international criminal organization' of anarchists," - reported in the anarchist movement.

Alexandr Kozlyanko - Brest activist, member of the "Free Trade Union". The political prisoner was detained on March 2, 2021 and tried under Article 342 of the Criminal Code ("Organization or active participation in group actions that grossly violate public order") and part 2 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code ("Creation of a criminal organization or participation in it"). He was sentenced to 6 years in prison.

According to the human rights center "Viasna", the charge under Article 342 was based on the episode with the road blocking in Brest back in 2018: then anarchists blocked three lanes of the M1 highway, protesting against the construction of a battery factory.
