The Office for Foreigners of Poland published statistics on the situation with the provision of international protection for foreigners.

In January-September 2025, Belarusians filed 2.3 thousand applications for international protection in Poland. 1.3 thousand received positive decisions and about 100 - refusals.

Another 100 cases were terminated. Most notes that the share of positive decisions is still very high - more than 85% of them.

For comparison: in the first half of the year, Belarusians filed 1.6 thousand applications and received 1 thousand positive decisions. This means that in the last three months - July-September - only 300 Belarusians were granted international protection. And there were 700 new applications.

So, the applications are accumulating. In September, the law was adopted, which "froze" the terms of consideration of international protection cases. It means that the cases are still being considered, but the Office for Foreigners is not obliged to meet the deadlines - 6 months in a general case and 15 months - in a complex case or in case of a large influx of applications.

It should be noted that 2.1 thousand Belarusians received it during 9 months of the last year.
