Zelensky Intrigued By Meeting With Trump

The head of the White House may actually be bringing the war to a close.

The meeting with US President Donald Trump scheduled for October 17 is expected to be very substantive and may actually bring the war in Ukraine to a close.

This is reported by Charter97.org with reference to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine has already worked out the military and economic aspects of the upcoming meeting with Trump. And the meeting itself promises to be quite substantive.

"This can really bring the end of the war closer: it is the United States that has the possibility of such global influence, and we are doing everything to make sure that others in the world are on the same side with us in this work," Zelensky intrigued.

The president added that Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, the head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak, Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kislitsa, Ukrainian Ambassador Olga Stefanyshina and other officials are now in the United States.

"Already in Washington, they have started meetings at their level, preparing the basis for a conversation with the leader of the United States, as well as with American defense companies, in particular air defense manufacturers, and with representatives of energy companies," Zelensky said.
