The cost of Brent fell below $62 per barrel for the first time since May.
During trading on Tuesday, October 14, the cost of futures for Brent crude oil fell below 62 dollars per barrel, which happened for the first time since early May this year. This is evidenced by the data of the London exchange ICE.
At the minimum, December futures fell by more than two percent, to 61.52 dollars per barrel. The WTI grade cheapened to 57.75 dollars per barrel.
This dynamics is observed against the background of the signing of an agreement on stopping hostilities in the Gaza Strip, which in the eyes of traders reduces the risks of escalation in the Middle East and lower supply volumes.
