The amount Ljubljana has classified.

Slovenia is joining the PURL initiative, under which NATO countries allocate money for the purchase of US weapons to help Ukraine.

Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob said this at a press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

"I cannot disclose the amount because it is classified. And I don't have the authority to declassify it now, but it is provided for in the budget of the Ministry of Defense for 2025, so it is not an additional expense," the head of the Slovenian government said.

He noted that such an aid package focuses only on defensive weapons. In particular, it is about air defense to protect Ukrainian energy facilities from Russian attacks.

Golob pointed out that Slovenia has been providing Ukraine with defensive weapons for quite a long time.
