Ukrainian Officer Names Two Traps Where The Ukrainian Armed Forces Have Driven Russians

Because of the unexpected actions of the Ukrainian defenders, the occupants fell into a trap. This was noted on the air of "Channel 24" by a veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war, retired Major Alexei Getman.
Alexei Getman noted that in the Dobropillya direction our fighters have encircled several groups of the Russian army. The invaders are trying to unblock them and are transferring additional forces.
The enemy cannot do anything now. They are left to either surrender or be eliminated. This at least diverts the Russians' ability to continue active operations near Pokrovsk.
The Russians have been pulling up heavy equipment, concentrating troops and allegedly preparing for offensive actions in the Zaporizhzhya direction for at least several months. They received our counterstrike in response.
- It was a surprise for them. An army that is almost ready to start offensive actions can't very well go straight to actions in defense. We took advantage of that. Several settlements were liberated," emphasized the retired major.
The AFU can launch counterattacks, go on a counteroffensive and achieve successes. Our military performs these actions without having an advantage in numbers. Despite this, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have advances with fewer men, equipment and so on.
- In my opinion, the main thing is the effect of surprise, when the enemy definitely does not expect us to perform offensive actions. They certainly didn't expect it. That's why we were able to advance and gain a foothold. Not deeply, but they will at least have to rewrite their own combat orders now, given the situation that has developed in recent days, - said the veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
According to him, on other parts of the front there are no significant changes over the past few days. But on the Dobropillya and Zaporizhzhya directions the occupants have problems.
