U.S. President Donald Trump's plane landed in Israel on Monday, October 13, as the process of freeing hostages held by Hamas continues, The Times of Israel reported.
The plane with the American leader on board landed at Ben-Gurion International Airport after flying over Hostages' Square in Tel Aviv.
Trump was met at the airport by Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and President Isaac Herzog.
The US president is expected to see the freed hostages today.
After Israel, Trump will travel to Egypt for a summit on Gaza with the Egyptian president and more than 20 world leaders. A peace plan that the Trump administration helped broker is to be signed in Sharm el-Sheikh.
