Israel is preparing for a possible offensive operation in Lebanon, which could include the creation of a buffer zone on the border.

The publication’s sources report that plans for a ground operation have already been drawn up, but their implementation will require a significant build-up of military forces.
Amid the recent escalation of the conflict situation in the region, Israel has stepped up airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. These strikes have become deeper and more intense than before, which was a response to recent provocations from Hezbollah, such as the undermining of Israeli communication systems. In response, Hezbollah also stepped up its actions on September 22, but both sides have not yet used their full military capabilities, and the current situation has not escalated into a full-fledged armed conflict.
According to analysts, if the conflict escalates, Hezbollah may launch more extensive attacks on Israeli cities, using long-range missiles and organizing incursions into Israeli territory.
In turn, Israel, in the event of an escalation, will likely conduct a more active campaign to destroy Hezbollah's missile infrastructure, including strikes on launchers hidden in civilian areas.
Despite the prepared plans for a ground operation, military sources indicate that Israel does not yet have sufficient resources to carry it out.
