IDF Calls On Lebanese Residents To Evacuate

Hezbollah terrorists are to be targeted.

The Israeli army has called on Lebanese civilians to leave areas where the Hezbollah terrorist group operates, warning that they will soon be “subject to large-scale precision strikes,” IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari said on September 23, according to the Detali website.

“We ask residents of Lebanese villages to pay attention to the messages and warnings issued by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces — edit.), and to heed them. (…) We advise civilians in villages located near buildings and areas used by Hezbollah for military purposes,such as storing weapons, to immediately leave dangerous areas for their own safety,” the officer said.

The IDF's warning came after the Israeli army launched “massive strikes” on Hezbollah targets on Monday morning, September 23, following a weekend in which both sides engaged in the heaviest fire since the latest escalation of the military conflict in the Gaza Strip began in October 2023.
