A resident of Svetlahorsk asked a friend from Homel to test his motorized hang glider. To do this, the men came to a section of gravel road in a corn field near the agro-town of Chyrkavichy.

The Homel resident took off, but soon the aircraft crashed. It fell on the field, and the 53-year-old pilot was injured and hospitalized. He died at night.
