Ukraine has successfully tested its first ballistic missile. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky/b> during a press conference on Tuesday, August 27, Radio Liberty reports.

"There was a successful test of the first Ukrainian ballistic missile. And I congratulate our defence industry on this," Zelensky said.

"I thought it was too early to talk about this. But I wanted society to evaluate the people who work 24/7 at defence enterprises," he said.

He also noted that he could not share details about this missile.
