SSU Reveals Details Of Large-Scale Capture Of ‘Kadyrovtsy’ In Kursk Region

The head of the SSU Vasyl Malyuk said that the fighters of the special unit conducted a special operation, which resulted in capturing more than a hundred occupants, including fighters of the ‘Akhmat’ battalion. This is stated by the Security Service press service on Telegram.

‘Yesterday we carried out a filigree operation, as a result of which 102 Russians were captured. In the long term we are already thinking about how to make the most of this to bring our defenders home,’ he said.

In addition, he noted that one of the main tasks of the agency during the war is to bring Ukrainian fighters home from captivity.

That is why the SSU is now actively working to replenish the exchange fund, which is why it is important for Ukrainian fighters to take Russian and Chechen occupants captive en masse.

According to Malyuk, the special exchange group will be expanded, now it will include representatives of the SSU, the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Interior Ministry, the AFU and the ombudsman.

As for the captured ‘Kadyrovtsy’, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate said that specialists and counter-intelligence officers were working with them to find out more information and document war crimes.
