The Polish military police and border guards will begin patrolling the border with Belarus, Polskie Radio reports.

Joint patrols should begin within a few days.

It is noted that this decision was proposed by the commander of the military police, Tomasz Kaiser, to the Minister of Defence of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Prime Minister Donald Tusk was also informed about this step.

Let us remind you that on May 28, a Polish soldier was wounded by a migrant who tried to break through the barrier on the border with Belarus. On June 6, the main command of the Polish Armed Forces reported that the soldier stabbed by an illegal migrant died in hospital.
