Russian Ilia Belostotsky, ex-director of the Yeralash TV show, sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for indecent assault on a teenager, was released from punishment. His criminal record was expunged due to his participation in the war against Ukraine.

He said this in a comment to MSK1.RU.

In November 2023, Belostotsky, while in prison, signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation — he went to Ukraine to serve as a medic in the assault detachment of the occupiers.

According to Belostotsky, he received a Life Saving Medal during his participation in hostilities. He also said that he was released from punishment.
