The length of the dam is 47 kilometers.

Construction of an electronic dam has begun on the Svislach and Istachanka Rivers in Podlasie. This is the implementation of regular statements about strengthening the eastern border following the migration crisis provoked by the Belarusian regime, writes RMF24.pl

Special poles are brought to already prepared construction sites. Some of them already exist on the border strip located near the Svislach and Istachanka Rivers. Electronic devices will be installed on these poles to help monitor illegal penetrations from Belarus. The length of the dam is 47 kilometers.

Earlier it was reported that the project provided for the installation of about 1,800 camera poles, 4,500 day-night cameras and thermal imagers, as well as special sensors at the border.

Work is also underway to strengthen the existing border fence.
