Russian futsal player Vyacheslav Moskalenko, who fought in the Donbas as part of the troops of the Russian Federation, was eliminated by the Ukrainian military.

The press service of the Russian Futsal Association reported that the 43-year-old man was killed on March 7.

During his career, Moskalenko twice became the champion of Russia (2002/2003, 2003/2004), three-time winner of the Russian Cup (2000, 2003, 2004) and winner of the Super Cup (2001) in mini-football.

As part of the Russian national team, Moskalenko played 19 matches and scored 10 goals. He competed at the 2003 European Championships.
