'Abruptly Change Course, Fly Back': Drone 'Uprising' Begins In Russian Forces

The UAVs have suddenly started hitting their own.

Strange things are happening to the Russian military in southern Ukraine. A new batch of UAVs, which came into service of the Russian Armed Forces, have "rebelled" attacking their own positions.

This is reported by the well-known Russian Z-channel of "VDV for Honesty and Justice", which is related to the officers of the Dnepr group of the Russian Armed Forces, reports Dialogue.UA.

"Now defective FPV drones of our Russian production are massively supplied to the Dnepr group. Most of them are simply not able to reach their targets and fall wherever. There have been cases when they abruptly changed course and flew back to our positions," the Russian military said.

They claim that at least one of their fellow servicemen has been killed by his own drone recently.

"Now it is justified by the effective use of the electronic warfare by the enemy ... But everyone already knows that there is a scheme which probably also involves the volunteers who purchase these defective FPV drones from dubious firms," the Russian channel reported.

It did not rule out that the command of the Dnepr group of the Russian Armed Forces is also involved in the scheme.

"Along with defective North Korean and Iranian shells, (...) we also receive defective our own Russian FPV drones. That's how we fight... for the benefit of someone's pocket," Z-channel complained.
