Sudden Combat Readiness Check In Belarusian Army: What Is Known So Far

Several military activities have been registered.
On March 1, a combat readiness check began in the Armed Forces of Belarus. Belaruski Haiun Telegram channel is aware of the following activities that may be relevant to the check:
- On March 11, seven helicopters of the 50th Combined Air Base (three Mi-24 and four Mi-8) flew from the Machulishchy airfield to the Asautsy airfield. Usually, after moving to Asautsy, helicopters conduct exercises at the 210th Ruzhany Aviation Training Ground. Whether this is part of the combat readiness check is not yet known.
- On the evening of March 11, the reconnaissance battalion of the 6th Mechanized Brigade made a march from the point of permanent deployment to the Hozhski Training Ground. Whether this is part of the combat readiness check was not specified. It should be noted that on March 11, competitions for the best motorized rifle and tank platoon, as well as the reconnaissance group of the Western Operational Command began at the training ground.
- On March 12, a convoy of the 1st Separate Mechanized Battalion of the 19th Mechanized Brigade (military base #14398) was spotted in Orsha. The convoy was formed yesterday at the Zaslonava station. Pictures of its formation were published by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus It was noted that the unit is involved in checking combat readiness.
The Barysauski or Abuz-Liasnouski grounds can be potential places for exercise. Thus, so far, the forces of one mechanized battalion have been involved in the combat readiness check.
