A documentary film about Belarus “This Kind of Hope”, the main character of which is the leader of the European Belarus civil campaign Andrei Sannikov, was shown in Leipzig, Germany.

The ex-presidential candidate of Belarus announced this on Facebook.

“Thank you, Leipzig, for your interest in the film and Belarus! Let's move on. The next stop is Augsburg,” wrote Andrei Sannikov.

The leader of the European Belarus civil campaign also published a schedule for showing the film in cinemas in seven German cities:

January 25 — Leipzig, Passage Kinos cinema

January 27 — Augsburg, Thalia cinema

January 28 — Cologne, Filmhaus cinema

January 29 — Dusseldorf, Metropol cinema

January 30 — Nuremberg, Casablanca cinema

January 31 — Munich, Monopol cinema

February 1 — Berlin, Kino Krokodil cinema.
