The Russian military base in the village of Granitne has been destroyed.

A strike has been made on the area where engineering units of the Russian Armed forces were based in the settlement of Granitne, Donetsk region. This was reported by advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andryushchenko on his Telegram on January 24.

"A morning of good news. The settlement of Granitne. Another blow to the area where the occupiers' engineering units are based, which finally destroyed the hope of the railway bridge. More precisely, its remains along with at least 5 units of engineering machinery" said Petro Andryushchenko.

According to him, this casts a long shadow on the potential of the railway connection from Russia to the temporarily occupied territories for at least 2024. Also, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol thanked all those involved in the strike against the enemy, primarily those in the occupation.

"Now can we ask for the "punishment of heaven" on another bridge? And for burying the car logistics to Volnovakha seriously and for long?" Petro Andryushchenko added.
