Managers of language courses are detained.

Law enforcers have closed down about ten commercial institutions in Belarus, where Polish language was learnt. The heads of the language courses are detained, the employees are demanded to provide the lists of teachers and students, who are threatened with prosecution. The law enforcers are especially interested in the owners of the "Pole's Card," reports the Belarusian office of Polskie Radio.

Earlier it was reported about the closing of the Polskipro school, where the law enforcers came on December 21, 2023. On the same day, a search took place in the Pan Professor language school, which also announced about its closing after nine years of work.

Since July 2023, Lukashenka's regime has required citizens to report residence permits, passports of other countries and other documents issued by other states. Civil servants are not allowed to have a "Pole's Card" at all.
