Charged with "unauthorized picket".

Alla Hrudnitskaia lives in Novopolotsk. She was fined for posting a picture of a white dog in a red suit on Odnoklassniki social media page. There was a photo caption: “Long Live Belarus!!!!! No Violence!!!” The woman was found guilty of "unauthorized picket".

Alla Hrudnitskaia was fined BYN 1,110 (about EUR 410) for “distributing extremist information” (the police found a subscription to a foreign media source recognized as “extremist” in Belarus on her Instagram account). The next fine was BYN 3,700 (about EUR 1367). Decisions were made by Judge Zinaida Balabolova.

The woman did not admit her guilt either at both trials. Two smartphones were taken from her as collateral in order to force her to pay both fines, writes viciebskspring.org.

Recall that the Hrudnitski family returned from a trip abroad, and the next day the trials were staged (the police reports indicate that the authorities got active when they were still abroad - they were "monitoring" the family). Dentist Aliaksandr Hrudnitski was found guilty of “violating the procedure for organizing or holding mass events” and was arrested for 15 days. And after another 14 days "for the spread of extremism".
