The Kremlin said the opposite.

Deputy Secretary of State of the Security Council Pavel Muraveika said on STV that Belarus has received permission to use nuclear weapons.

Belarusian specialists are fully trained in Russia. They have worked out all situations in simulators and at real facilities there.

In an interview with Pavel Zarubin on March 25, Vladimir Putin said that Moscow and Minsk agreed to deploy tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus, which Lukashenka “requested for a long time.” According to the Russian President, the construction of a special storage facility for these weapons will be completed by July 1, 2023.

Putin added that Russia does not transfer tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, but only deploys them, which allows it not to violate the agreement on the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
