British Intelligence: Russia Urgently Transferred Newly Formed Army To Front

What is the reason?
Russia urgently transferred the newly formed 25th Army to the Luhansk Front. She was forced to do this due to a lack of reserves.
The UK Ministry of Defence reported this on Twitter.
The report reads that Elements of Russia’s new 25th Combined Arms Army have highly likely deployed to Ukraine for the first time. The formation is likely focused on the Luhansk region in the north-east of the country.
According to British intelligence, as recently as August 2023, recruitment adverts for the 25th Combined Arms Army claimed it would only deploy to Ukraine from December 2023.
It is likely that units have been rushed into action early partly because Russia continues to grapple with an over-stretched force along the front and Ukraine continues its counter-offensive on three different axes, the report reads.
“However, there is also a realistic possibility that Russia will attempt to use parts of 25 Army to regenerate an uncommitted reserve force in the theatre to provide commanders with more operational flexibility,” the British MoD said.
Russian army
According to British intelligence, there is a high level of refusal to fight due to lack of training and motivation in the Russian Army. Deserters are replaced by a pure mass of conscripts.
Kyrylo Budanov, the chief of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence, stated that the professional army of Russia ended last fall.
Previously, British intelligence reported that Russia was expanding its military structures in the face of wartime realities and was creating another new formation - the 18th Combined Arms Army. The formation will likely be a unification and strengthening of other troops currently operating in the Kherson region.
