Elon Musk Passed Out In Moscow After A Couple Vodka Shots

American businessman and SpaceX founder Elon Musk told how he lost consciousness after drinking several shots of vodka at a business meeting in Moscow in 2002, writes Business Insider. The entrepreneur wrote about this in the new biographical book “Elon Musk” by Walter Isaacson, published on September 12.

In 2002, Musk planned to launch a mission to Mars and grow plants there. His first plan, called the Mars Oasis, involved sending a greenhouse into space. Musk came to Moscow to buy several Russian launch vehicles for this purpose. During a business lunch with partners, the entrepreneur was offered some snacks and a large amount of vodka. Also, after the feast, the businessman and his colleagues were presented with a bottle of vodka with a portrait of each of them against the backdrop of Mars.

Musk estimated the mass of food and the mass of vodka, and they turned out to be approximately the same. After several toasts, the businessman, who was supporting his head with his hand, lost consciousness and passed out, and his head hit the table with a thud. After this, Musk admitted that he hardly impressed the Russians, the book says.
