The Ukrainian forces are carrying out successful operations and gaining footholds in a new bridgehead.
The Konka crossing route (a continuation of the legendary Antonivka Road Bridge) in the Kherson region is becoming increasingly dangerous for Russians, writes «Стопкор».
Soldiers of the Ukrainian National Guard, using kamikaze UAVs, destroyed the Murom-M long-range visual surveillance station placed by the invaders on the bridge. Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the South OC for the first time officially confirmed that the Ukrainian troops gained positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River last week.
Chairman of the Public Council at the Odesa Regional Military Administration Serhiy Bratchuk, a representative of the Ukrainian South Volunteer Army, published a bright video of an FPV drone strike against the Russian Murom-M system installed on the bridge near Oleshky. The video was published on Monday morning, September 11.
He said that the Odesa 11th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine dealt the precise strike. The Murom-M is a long-range visual surveillance system equipped with an optical camera with a powerful zoom. It allows the enemy to see a person at a distance of up to 10 km, and its thermal imager detects a car at 8 km and people at 4 km in the dark.
Earlier, in the same area, Ukrainian soldiers discovered and successfully destroyed Russian vehicles. The “Kherson: War Without Fakes” local channel published the footage of those strikes online on September 9.
The bridge over the Konka is the only land transport artery connecting the occupied Oleshky in the Kherson region with the so-called Dach area between the Dnipro and Konka. It is located approximately 3 km from the destroyed Antonivka Bridge and is a continuation of it. According to the DeepState maps, the Ukrainian forces managed to land on the left bank opposite Antonivka and capture positions there.
