Brilliant Operation: Ukrainian Forces Liberated Part Of Opytne Near Donetsk Airport

The front line has shifted significantly towards Donetsk.

Fighters of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a brilliant operation south of Avdiivka. As a result, Ukrainian defenders occupied part of the village of Opytne in close proximity to the Donetsk Airport. Now the fighting continues there.

The head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, Vitaly Barabash, announced this during a telethon on September 10.

“Two days ago, when the Russian troops stormed positions in the north of the city, the Ukrainian forces carried out a brilliant operation and liberated part of Opytne. They gained a foothold there. Fighting continues in the most populated area now,” he said.
