According to Charter97.org, a powerful explosion was heard today near the settlement of Olinivka in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

There are two settlements named Olinivka in Crimea. One is near Gvardeyske and the other is on the Tarkhankut cape.

The telegram channel Crimean Wind claims that it is Olinivka on Tarkhankut.

"As we are informed, the arrival was at a Russian military facility on Cape Tarkhankut. What exactly is not yet known - there are many new ones there lately," the message said.

Later, a message appeared about the probable purpose and consequences of the 'bavovna'.

"It is reported that the radar stations on Tarkhankut have been hit. There were 7 explosions in all. The Russian air defence is blinded in this sector," writes Crimean Wind.

The Russian telegram channel VChK-OGPU also writes that "according to some reports, the strike hit a military facility".

It later emerged that in addition to radar stations, the Russian coastal anti-ship missile system (CASMS) Bastion was hit in Crimea.

Petro Andriushenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, said.

Bastion is one of the launchers of the Onyx missiles used by the Russians to attack Ukraine.
