Lukashists had to look for something that was not there.
Uladzimir Kazeka, a farmer from Drahichyn, was returning from Poland to Belarus. At the border he was detained for personal inspection and asked to show his phone. However, the farmer did not have it. Brestskaya Viasna reports about the incident.
The sergeant immediately demanded a phone from Kazeka. The farmer said that he didn't have a phone. The sergeant was surprised and did not believe him, called a senior officer, who said that the man would go to jail for 15 days if they found the phone. Uladzimir said: "Look for it."
After searching and failing to find the phone, the surprised workers called the lieutenant colonel. The latter immediately demanded that the phone be given to him "amicably" so that there would be no trouble. But Uladzimir Kazeka calmly replied: "No. I don't buy them. I had my phone seized back in May". After about 40 minutes the farmer was released.
Brestskaya Viasna reminds that in May, when Kazeka was also returning from Poland, he was detained for subscribing to "extremist channels" in his phone.
Then he was punished through the court with three arrests for different terms. During his time in jail (43 consecutive days), crops died and 30 bee hives vanished. The farmer was left with a debt of $10,000.
